Checked 17 October 2026. Updated 2026-10-17.

The legal path
Buy or install the game on Steam. The client supports Windows and Linux, including SteamOS. macOS is marked unsupported. GeForce Now is also listed by the developer as a way to play the PC version.
There is no official mobile store listing and no browser build I could embed. If a page offers an APK or a free unlocked copy, treat it as unrelated to this release. The mobile page spells out that gap.
What you pay
The US base price is $24.99. A 20 percent launch discount brought it to $19.99 in the 17 October 2026 check. The soundtrack (app 5147400) and the Supporter Edition (app 5208450) are separate extras. The studio’s 24 August announcement priced each at $9.99 and a game, soundtrack and supporter bundle at $37.99; those are announced prices, not a fresh quote for every extra.
The Supporter Edition adds a name tag, exclusive cosmetics, a camping site, printable maps and a set of 4K wallpapers. It does not add vehicles. Read the price page before the discount window closes.
Install and save files
Steam specifies 4 GB of available storage. That is a minimum disk-space requirement, not a measured download or installed-file size. Steam Cloud is enabled. PCGamingWiki records Windows saves under Documents/My Games/over the hill/Saves and Linux saves under the home-directory My Games folder. Start with the progress page before changing any files.
