Over the Hill release date announcement
Checked 17 October 2026. Updated 2026-10-17.
This is the post that turned a year into a day. I use 10 August 2026 as the announcement and 14 October 2026 as the PC ship date. Consoles stayed a year, not a day. When someone asks “did it come out”, I send them here and then to the store page.
The dates
PC: 14 October 2026, and the later store field matches that date as a full release. Consoles: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 follow in 2027. The post does not give a month inside 2027. I will not invent one.
Strelka Games is the console publishing partner and Serenity Forge handles physical editions, from the studio’s console materials. Physical edition contents still disagree between sources, so I am not listing a collector’s box here.
The world that ships with it
The same announcement says the game features several areas in the Canada and Algeria regions. That is the sentence the map pages are built on. Algeria had already been called the second region in April.
The studio hoped the game would become “your new favorite zen adventure”. That is their wording for the tone. The page that stays current is release date. Platform rows are on platforms.
